Today’s New Covenant nugget is from 1 Timothy 2:5-6 (NLT)
There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time.
Blessings to you on this good Friday where the whole world stops to recognize that Jesus died and gave His life to purchase FREEDOM for everyone. Jesus established a New Covenant of FREEDOM in His own blood… He died that we may live… He who knew no sin, became sin on the cross of Calvary so that we would become the righteousness of God in Him.
If Jesus gave His life for our freedom, so that we could have life and life more abundantly, then ‘be free’ and enter the abundant life by faith… refuse to be defeated, refuse to be downhearted, refuse to let death in… Jesus died that you may live!
One of the greatest ways that we can respect what Jesus did for us is to receive what He did… we receive it by embracing the abundant life, by embracing joy, peace, wholeness, health and abundance in all of its forms.
Honor Jesus today by walking in joy, peace, faith, hope and excitement and by living your life to the fullest… the abundant life! Honor Him today by rejecting sorrow, defeat, depression, frustration, sickness and every form of death! Honor Jesus today by laying hold of what He gave to you by laying His life down on the cross of Calvary… do it in Jesus Name!
