Today’s New Covenant nugget is from Matthew 14:28-29

And Peter answered Jesus and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So, Jesus said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.

Peter had heard Jesus say, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father” (John 14:12) – so, when Peter saw Jesus walking on water, he knew that he could do what Jesus did and also walk on water.

Peter and Jesus literally walked on water, but when they did, the Holy Spirit was sending a greater message to all believers… whatever you see Jesus doing in the gospels, you can do also!

Walking on water represents walking in the supernatural, supernaturally doing what you cannot do in the natural and supernaturally going where you cannot go in the natural, in Jesus Name!

When you see Jesus doing something in the gospels, ask Him… “Jesus, command me to raise the dead with You, command me to open blind eyes with You, command me to cast the devils out of that homeless man with You, command me to get my tax money out of the mouth of a fish with You, command me to multiply food with You, so that I can feed thousands, command me to do what You did Jesus, and command me to do even greater works…” I believe Jesus will give you the same answer He gave Peter, “COME”.

Walking through things in the natural is hard, some may even say ‘impossible’, especially in these times… the good news is that we do not have to go through life and overcome challenges in the natural, we can supernaturally walk on water with Jesus… come, walk on water with Jesus and I, it is God’s answer for these troubled times – selah!

Blessings on you, Nick
