Today's devotion is from Matthew 8:1-4 (MSG)

‘Jesus came down the mountain with the cheers of the crowd still ringing in his ears. Then a leper appeared and went to his knees before Jesus, praying, “Master, if you want to, you can heal my body.” Jesus reached out and touched him, saying, “I want to. Be clean.” Then and there, all signs of the leprosy were gone.’

Jesus delights in blessing us…

The Greek word translated as ‘want to’ literally means ‘to delight in, passionately wanting to do something, or doing something out of love.’ Many translations translate it as ‘willing,’ but the word ‘willing’ simply does not capture the true intent of what Jesus said. Jesus responded to the leper’s request by saying… “I would be delighted to do this for you, in fact, I am passionately desirous to bless you!”

Jesus is excited about the miracle you need…

Friends, Jesus wants to heal us, He wants to bless us and provide for us, in fact He is passionately desirous and delights in ministering to our needs. No matter what you need today… Jesus loves you so much, and He is eagerly waiting to exceed your need.

Jesus is sitting at the edge of His throne and is passionately desirous to pour out His miracle working power and do far more than you could ever imagine! Jesus WANTS TO, so WHEN you pray, BELIEVE that you receive, and you shall have it.
